Solange Bellemare
Solange Bellemare studied the violin at l'École des Petits Violons with Jean Cousineau from 1967 to 1982 and graduated in music
from l'École de Musique Vincent-d'Indy with a DEC in music. In 1983, she attended McGill University to perfect her skills as
both violist and violinist in chamber music.
As a freelance musician, she is often called upon to play with various ensembles. Presently, she is a regular member
of l'Orchestre Symphonique de Longueuil. In addition, she is a member of two other ensembles directed by Jean Deschênes:
l'Ensemble Strauss-Lanner de Montréal and l'Ensemble Transatlantik Schrammel.
She completes her life as musician by dedicating a significant portion of her time to teaching the violin, particularly
to young children.
